As I’m watching an old South Park on TV and drinking some jalapeño infused vodka I was supposed to save for the captain’s return (oh yeah, like THAT was gonna happen), I can breathe a sigh of relief at my completed mini-bath refurbish. It’s taken a great deal of my valuable time, time better spent searching for more proofreading/copy editing jobs, but when the seashell calls, one must respond. Right? Right. Glad we’re on the same page, so I can use y’all as backup when the captain wants to know what I do with my day (like he doesn’t know.) I made a video but I’m afraid to post it, so we’ll go with the still photos. My skills as a videographer are primitive. Trust me.

You are indeed Madame Seashells. My favourite (favOUrite) is the seashells rug in front of the toilet. I had a friend in high school whose mother was obsessed with chickens. Seashells are WAY better – much prettier. And I love mermaids.
I’m happy that you like my new bathroom which is way better than the 3rd level of hell it was before. BTW the capt has his own bathroom so you don’t have to picture a manly tugboat guy sitting on the mermaid bench. but that’d be super funny.

Toile and roosters….they’re my things. Not so much to my husband’s taste, though. Don’t worry, I’ve worked enough in amidst the leather to please us both.
I do hope you live near the ocean.
What’s toile? Yes, I live in Carlsbad, a little beach town north of San Diego. I have a vintage rooster lamp you would LOVE. I went through a rooster stage a while back.
Turned out really good. My thing to collect is wooden boats and have them around the apartment.
Pix, please!! urjentbiz@gmail.com if you don’t want to go public.
I will take some pics tomorrow of the various ones I have and will email them to you!
cool
It looks great! My mom loves the ocean so we had a bathroom that was ocean themed once. We even had a shell wind catcher similar to yours. I must say the seashell toilet lid with the rug pulls the whole bathroom together!

You are very kind to say so, your mom sounds like a wonderful and creative woman! I love love the toilet. But the bench is my super favorite part.
I love the bench too. The fabric is super cute, as well as the starfish!
you wouldn’t perchance like seashells would you — I have always been one for the obvious
beautiful bathroom, do you take your laptop in there
Yes, I do have a slight fondness for seashells, rocks, driftwood. yes, I admit I do take my laptop in there. A confession!

“You” are incredible! This looks like a day at the beach! Beautiful : )
Thank you, now if I just had one of your desserts presented to me on a beautiful tray with a cup of ginger tea, I’d languish in my bath and never leave!

Shelltastic bathroom, my friend! I’d want to have a glass of jalapeno infused vodka and relax in there for hours if I was you!
Well, when you come by, we’ll have to pop a bottle of champs to wash down a pan of black bean brownies. YUM!

Um, DONE!
Cheers! What a wonderful project. Well done! I love the seashell drawer pulls.
Hi and thank you! and thanks for stopping by. I’d invite you in, but I only have one Enchanted Mermaid Princess vanity bench, at least until the cap comes back and makes another one!:)

You have a design flair – colour and textures – all with a wonderful feeling of the sea…
So nice of you to say, I honestly don’t see it, all I know is those colors make me happy! I’ve always collected seashells, rocks–capt brought me sand from a remote Russian beach which was super cool, and my son always brings me little offerings from his travels around the world.

And that is what makes it all the more appealing…
Except when I have to dust those things…
oooooh! I LOVE the shells around the mirror and walls…I might steal that idea, too! To thank you for all of your support,I have nominated you for a Leiber Award. Please check in at the link below:

Be my guest! I hope you enjoy gluing bits and pieces of things as much as I do, and thank you for the award!
I had to drum up a few, but your nomination was a no-brainer!
I have a hot glue gun and professional strength super glue… and I’m not afraid to use them!
You go, girl! Just don’t burn yourself, that glue hurts!

You definitely need more shells…I love the ones for knobs. I used to have a “sea” bathroom with fish nets and glass bouy, star fish and stuffed crab and mermaid poster. I’ve never had a cooler loo since. Your’s makes me miss it. Great job!!
Mermaids are too cool. That’s a great idea, I have some fish net in the garage, I’ll see what I can do! What happened to that bathroom motif of yours?
