Well…the observation resonates with those of us who BAKE the desserts that YOU eat! We are stressed to make those dozens of cookies or banana breads or whatever, decorate them, and pack them into gift-giving containers. It’s OBVIOUS that is not YOUR experience. LOL

I would have to agree with you, although some days I’m not sure. I bought my son/DIL those little chocolate bottles filled with liqueurs and they looked really tasty.

I have to make a confession. When my son was about 4, I received some chocolates filled with liqueurs, which I forgot all about…but my son found them somehow and had about four pieces. Oh my, I was the one responsible for his hangover…I was absolutely devastated! Now that I have confessed, I feel so much better.
Tugboat confessions can work for you, too! I bet that’s the only time in his entire life you might have slipped just a bit! I have a feeling you are an awesome mom. Only 4 pieces, that’s hardly anything! I’m glad you confessed to me!

I knew my confession would be in safe hands….he seemed to survive very nicely. As for stressed and desserts – it is all in how you look at things. You always give me a smile…

I was all ready for some nice ‘get-out-of-Mayberry-and-do-some-shopping-in-a-real-town’ yesterday, but the ex-d-in-l called to ask me to take my grandson, who was not feeling well. So, I baked cookies all yesterday and today, I made candy.See,I know EXACTLY how to handle stress!
