If it weren't for Madame Seashells, I would never have done this. Last night, I baked my first ever apple pie, with her help of course. We did it over the interwebs - on Skype - and we had so much fun.
This is how it all went down, though I didn't even think to take pictures until we were about half way through...
A FIRST in the world of Skype/internet/blogging FRIENDSHIPS! Good friendships can blossom miles and even countries apart. I loved baking with Ms.FurFiles, and next we're going to have another adventure together!
I'll post my pics and my version of our baking day as soon as the captain leaves!

Does look like it was a blast. I thought of one recipe for tomorrow for special dinner. We make a macaroni salad but put red peppers in it and also ranch dressing. It tastes really good!

We Skype with our eldest daughter in Wpg. when she has time for us oldies! Love being able to see her when we talk! Wish more of our kids would get on the bandwagon, it’s a great way to communicate.
My son and I do, too, and it’s so lovely to see, if not actually be able to hug and kiss, our Angel Boy. Hubs doesn’t really like to Skype when he’s gone, of course, most of the time he can’t, but even when he can, he’s not a fan!
