  2. Growing up, I had the biggest crush on Robert Smith. His voice turns my heart to melted butter.

Though as a fan of The Cure, I love that Adele has helped bring back one of their most wistful songs. She puts a nice spin on it, but my vote is unequivably with The Cure.

“Blurry” by Puddle of Mudd is a great song too… “There’s oceans in between us, but that’s not very far…”

  3. I prefer Cure’s version…but maybe that’s because I have been sick….what have I missed???A lot , probably.
I know you miss Captain Tug; I hope the days pass faster for you.
(You ahve no idea how amused I am.”Capt.Tug” was a fellow in a false beard who hosted a local kiddie cartoon show after school in Washington, DC when I was a kid…nothing like YOUR Capt.Tug!)

  4. I’m voting for the Cure, but I do love Adele. I watched her on Saturday Night Live YEARS ago and told my husband how awesome she was. Love the shells. I also hoard them. I have two giant clumps of oyster shells that I dragged home from the Gulf. And shells. Lot’s of shells. And sand dollars. And sea beans. And shark teeth. Honestly. I do. I love the sea and water. If I can’t live near the water, I can’t stand it.

    • You would be able to take much better pix!!! BTW, thank you for all your visits today!! I really appreciate it. I always think I’m going to stop blogging ‘cos I’ve been doing it since June and haven’t been courted by any producers or publishers, but then I’d miss my sweet cyberfriends!
