We love to walk!

When my son was in elementary school, we’d walk before school started. We took our Border Collie, Victor, with us and walked for about thirty minutes or so after breakfast. During that time, my son would practice his spelling words or math, and we’d talk as we walked — a special time for me and my Angel Boy. We rarely missed a day, even when it rained (which it does in SoCal). I sure miss those days…

  1. I would love to walk. Unfortunately I am having a total knee replacement in about 6 hours. It will be a few months before I can walk with ease. I am so looking forward to walking without a cane. Take a nice walk for me. Lucy


  2. Enjoyed your post! As a young girl, I used to walk to the beach with my grandmother, then walk along the shore. Sometimes, we would walk from the ricefields into town. Or walk across ricefields! I loved crossing bridges. I now walk to work from the station and back. I thought of getting a foldable bike to ride from the station to work, but the possibility of me getting killed on a bike is higher than me walking. Luckily in London, we mostly walk everywhere, so it adds to my exercise routine šŸ™‚ Hope you’re having a lovely week šŸ™‚
