That’s right NOW and then AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN!
Even though I’m not Irish, I’ll use any excuse to create a yummy beverage to celebrate St. Pat’s Day.
Or Pi Day, since it’s 3-14. Any excuse, ya know? And this is a special Pi Day that comes but once in a century. That’s right, it’s 3-14-15, the only time before 2115 that the date reflects five digits of the magical, infinite number, 3.141592653…
Whether it’s St. Patrick’s Day or Pi Day, what’s better than a Bloody Mary?
With lime and celery, it’s got the right colors to satisfy the “wearing of the green.”
No one wants to get pinched, right?
I loved the Old Ballycastle Ginger mixer so much that the good people at Powell & Mahoney sent me their Sriracha Bloody Mary mix.
Do you love spicy as much as I do?
With cayenne and jalapeño peppers, this is the BEST Bloody Mary mix I’ve ever tried, even better than my own creation.
Classic Bloody Mary
It couldn’t be easier. Just use any good vodka, add a squeeze of fresh lime, and garnish with a lime wheel and celery stalk. What a great way to eat your veggies! Tugboat man makes awesome infused vodkas- this beverage would be amazing with the garlic, jalapeño, and peppercorn version. 2 parts P&M Bloody Mary Mixer
1 part vodka
Combine in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over ice. I sprinkle freshly cracked pepper over the top. YUM!
Handcrafted in Vermont, Powell & Mahoney, Ltd. was founded by two beverage industry veterans who were inspired by the lack of quality mixers made available to consumers. Noticing a true need in the market, the duo combined their expertise and passion and launched the successful mixer brand. Powell & Mahoney, Ltd. has reinvented classic cocktail recipes by swapping out artificial flavoring and preservatives for hand selected, better-for-you ingredients.
