It’s been a long while since I’ve blogged; I might not remember how, you know what I mean?
What’s new with me? My first grandchild was born on March 7! His name is Theodore; we all call him Theo — and he’s amazing, brilliant, beautiful (of course!). I’ll post a pic as soon as I’ve been given parental clearance.
Now on to my favorite subject…ME!
I’ve rediscovered bathing.
No, I don’t mean that I had forsaken good hygiene all these months, but I’ve been mostly a shower kind of girl and the kind people at San Francisco Salt Company sent me a lovely sampling of their Epsom Salts.
The lavender is HEAVENLY and the eucalyptus with peppermint essential oils is PERFECT after a day of hiking or gardening.
Now I’ve been looking forward to a relaxing evening soak, replete with fragrant candle and even a glass of wine now and again.
Soaking in an Epsom Salt bath is one of the most effective means of making the magnesium your body needs readily available.
Epsoak Epsom Salt from San Francisco Salt Company; they offer the best quality epsom salt at the best value. Numerous studies have demonstrated the profound and wide-ranging benefits of soaking in an epsom salt bath. Epsom salts help soothe muscle pain, cleanse pores, and detoxify the skin and contain Magnesium and Sulfur, which helps:
- Ease stress and improve sleep and concentration
- Muscles and nerves function properly
- Regulate activity of 325+ enzymes
- Reduce inflammation to relieve pain and muscle cramps
- Improve oxygen use
- Flush toxins
- Improve absorption of nutrients
- Form joint proteins, brain tissue and mucin proteins
Scented with Lavender Essential Oil, Epsoak Sleep Formula also promotes a deeper, better night’s sleep. Epsoak Muscle Soak with Eucalyptus and Peppermint Essential Oils are ideal for soothing muscle pain and relieving aching feet—perfect for athletes and those who are physically active.
LOVE this company! San Francisco Salt Company
Theo!!!
Oh my gosh. I can’t believe it’s almost been two months already.
So exciting.
One day, when I’m free of the tyrannical grasp of the toddlerocracy I will have time to enjoy a good soak while reading a book. Until then I’ll just have to live off my memories.

Theo’s mom and dad have NO idea what the future will bring with “toddleocracy”!

I don’t think any parent can really know until the toddlerocracy is upon them.

I love a soak in the tub. I like that these salts are scented, too. I’m going to try them. And, hey, welcome back.

Congrats on the grandson! I’m a shower kind of guy, so I’ll pass on the salts, but I appreciate the style in which you write, so I’m still liking the post.

Well, thank you so much, kind sir! I get that most men don’t do the bathing thing, but if it were to be re-branded differently, I bet y’all be totally into it!

My wise old grandmother had Epsom Salt in all her bathrooms. I hated that stuff. Still do, 44 years later.
