Eriogonum fasciculatum foliolosum, California Buckwheat grows in the chaparral in very dry hot conditions. Small animals and birds use it for cover.

The first strawberry of the season!
It smells exactly like Lemon Pledge
Snapdragons and Alstromeira
Rosebuds, of course!
