State of The Union

I didn’t watch the state of the union performance, did you?

I don’t want to look at any of them until they’re being led off in handcuffs for their crimes against humanity.

If just a tenth of the information contained in the Epstein files is true, and I believe it is, the sheer amount of crime is overwhelming.

“What evil lurks in the hearts of men.”

(And women.) Originally, this was the famous tagline from the 1930s radio drama The Shadow. This “evil” refers to internal, human-originated wickedness, the dark aspects of the human psyche.

Again, I’m reminded of Wetiko, a term from Indigenous North American traditions to describe a parasitic “mind-virus” or evil, cannibalistic spirit that compels individuals toward insatiable greed, consumption, and self-destructive, pathologically selfish behavior. It acts as a collective psychosis, causing humanity to act against its own survival.

In my opinion, the state of the union is dark, depraved, and destructive. I’m waiting for the light to shine into the black void and finally see justice served for the victims.
