We’re in the middle of a high surf advisory with sets up to ten feet. Although the bigger waves are south of me, I didn’t feel like driving to La Jolla or Sunset Cliffs; instead I took some pics at my local beach. The air temperature is in the low 70s and it’s simply sparkly and beautiful.
I was hoping to see whales or dolphins, but I wasn’t lucky today. The only animal life out in the water were of the surfer species.
lovely photo’s thank you for sharing, i hope you have a lovely day, respect

Looks beautiful! Wish I could transport there to the beach for a few hours’ respite in the sun and warm air.

Actually, it’s been pretty warm here- mid to upper 40’s. With the power out we’ve had the wood stove going, but not full blast.

Did you get hit by the wind and the rain?

Big time. Power was out Tuesday for 6 hours, and went out again shortly before midnight. Its now officially Thursday and the power is still out from Tues night. And who knows when it will be back on. We have a generator and a wood stove. Got power to our fridge and chest freezer, and to a handful of important things in the house. But no water other than our 35 gallon reserve tank. We’re ok though. May need to bathe in the river pretty soon though- lol!

That’s whats happening in your area, but in Ballard, not too much wind, just rain. I keep sending my son pics of the beach and how we’re going to be in the 80s to try and lure him here.
