What sparks joy? Two beach visits in the same day, one in the morning and one as the sun set.
No whales or dolphins I’m sad to report; but it was still a gorgeous spring morning in SoCal.

Later, the ocean was wild and loud and exhilarating.

A close up pic of the holes in the coastal beach bluff, where I sat during high tide.

Sunset surf sesh. The line of surfers parallel the horizon.

You remind me that I am also filled with joy when I go to the beach and I’ve not been for a while.
I had a second take when I looked at the bottom picture as I thought they were sharks and not surfers LoL

Get to the beach! It’s so healing. We don’t have sharks on a regular basis, just now and then! It’d be more likely to see dolphins or whales which is always a special treat!

You are right. I must make the effort to go. We only live a 2 minute drive from one beachand we are blessed with many more all local.

How fortunate you are! There’s just something calming and organic and basic and nurturing about the ocean. All those salty negative ions! It’s good for the brain too!

I didn’t go in haha, but it’s about 60-62 degrees. Mostly everyone was wearing wetsuits but some were more brave!
