Really hot for the beach…
And probably super crowded, too difficult to maintain proper social distancing, so I’m here:
with a couple friends …
and some mulberries that aren’t quite ready…
along with some pretty pretty flowers…
I’m enjoying all the lush and colorful garden because pretty soon no matter what I do, the grass will turn brown ‘cos we probably won’t have more rain until next winter and the dry hot SoCal Santana winds make watering a futile effort.

What a beautiful garden and sitting area. I dreamed of having a home with pretty flower gardens when I was young, but for many reasons it’s not to be. At least not yet and not in the near future. So thanks for sharing yours!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I knew the minute my mom and I saw this house 35 years ago that it would be our special place. She lived with us, got sick,, had hospice and died here, so it’s even more special because her sprit is always here protecting us. Our sanctuary.
