The Star Fairy

Stars are dropping thick as stones into the twiggy
Picket of trees whose silhouette is darker
Than the dark of the sky because it is quite starless.
The woods are a well. The stars drop silently.

  1. What a beautiful scene this poem portrays, and the picture is whimsical. I love it!

(sorry I haven’t been commenting for the past week. I’ve been having radiotherapy. I have the weekend to myself before having next week’s sessions.)
